Independent Living is all about giving people with disabilities the same level of choice, freedom and control in their lives as any other person.
Published in March 2008 the Independent Living Strategy (ILS) illustrates key points aimed at helping less able bodied people to have more control over their daily activities and a greater choice and control over how support is provided. With greater access to Education, Housing, Employment, Leisure and Transport it is intended that the strategy will give disabled people of all ages a better opportunity to participate in both family and community life.
It is our aim to provide and install Assistive Technology (disability equipment) on behalf of Local Authorities and/or private homes to help people with disabilities cope with their day to day lives a little easier.
